To Dawn’s Friends, Family and Co-workers.…this is OUR chance to make a difference. I know this topic is a sensitive one for many of us, but with the same courage that it took Dawn to register as a donor and her family to honor that request, I ask you to take the time to challenge your fears and consider this life-altering choice. None of us wants to think about dying but in the face of life lost, we can choose to help our fellow humankind to another or a brighter sunrise.
This is a great website with lots of information….please take 10 minutes and find the answers to your concerns and then make an educated choice. IF you are in another state, please go to www.donatelife.net to link to your state for their info and registry. Then if you decide to become a registered donor, please email me directly so that I may keep track of our numbers to honor Dawn.
Remember IF you are registered (or think you are) through the California DMV, you need to confirm your status as prior to 2006 there was not a ‘list’ that was official and you may be required to re-register if you have not.
One last thought…..if you are a donor (previous or newly so) and you are inspired by Dawn’s story and choice, please pass this link onto your friends and family and ask them to consider it too.
